Mary Lynne founded It's About Time in 2000
to encourage and support people toward better productivity in their homes, home offices, and places of business. While Mary Lynne was "born organized", she realizes that many people are not. "I believe everyone can raise the bar on their level of organization, and thus productivity. The key is getting the support and tools needed to effect a change."

Mary Lynne is convinced of the power of organizing. "When your space is in order, you're more likely to realize your dreams. Good things happen when you're organized™. My mission is to inspire, encourage, and give hope to my clients to achieve a fulfilling life."

Mary Lynne, a native Californian, grew up in a modest three bedroom home. "My parents converted our garage to a family room; storage space was limited. I learned from my parent's example that 'letting go' was a normal (and necessary) part of living." She says she has been organized her entire life, and can tell stories to prove it!

Mary Lynne has written over fifty articles in the Contra Costa Times column, "Get Organized." She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and has earned the CPO-CD® (Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization) designation from the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization, as well as the A.D.D. Specialist Certificate. Mary Lynne enjoys coordinating an annual pro bono organizing project for Get Organized Month each January, and helping her clients "find anything in five seconds" as an Authorized Paper Tiger Consultant.

Before starting It's About Time, Mary Lynne earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She spent 20 years in the marketing and management of multifamily properties, including retirement housing, earning the coveted Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. She has been an ardent supporter of her children in their schools and sports, and lives with her husband, two daughters and their golden retriever in Walnut Creek, California.
